maybe not the spot for this, BUT someone told me the server was a whole diff map previously, and had been up actually since 2018? and you guys wiped everything and now have this one. that bothers me a bit. how do i know all my effort and time spent wont become tumbleweeds on the wind?

I’m not sure who the source is, but it’s no matter, as the message is inaccurate regardless.

We have never closed or wiped a server that had active players. Period.

As for feeling comfortable that your time in game won’t be wasted… Well, no one can predict the future, but we’re not planning on going anywhere and I’d like to think myself, and the entire team, helps to further that confidence within our community.

This is and always has been a passion project, and not the cheapest passion you can have either. It’s marked with a fair share of blood, sweat, and tears — and yet we’ve never said “enough” and stopped. Instead we’ve grown.

We’re also not “one person, one project.” We’re a co-op of servers, each with their own owner(s) who work together to deliver these experiences, with more coming very soon.

There’s more contingency plans here, than you’d be lucky to find on any free server.

Nonetheless, I appreciate you sharing and hope I’ve alleviated any concerns that I could.

However, we are focused on today, and tomorrow more than utilizing our energies to combat misinformation, or hateful attacks.
