Code of Conduct

UORealms Code of Conduct and User Expectations



In order to ensure an environment that is conducive to member enjoyment, freedom of player styles, and free of unnecessary harassment, the following Code of Conduct has been implemented to ensure an enjoyable experience for all of our members across all platforms.

Your use of UORealms acknowledges your acceptance to be bound by these Codes, as well as our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service agreements.

Please note that these Codes are not all-inclusive, and at all times you are expected to conduct yourself in a manner that does not hinder, abuse, or negatively impact other members or team members of UORealms.

Code of Conduct:

General Expectations



  • Be respectful. No personal attacks.
  • Offensive, Vulgar, or Pornographic Content. You won’t post it.
  • Profanity. Don’t direct it at another user.
  • Ethnic Slurs, Bigotry, Homophobic, Transphobic, and Misogynistic. Don’t post any such content.
  • Intellectual Property. You won’t post someone else’s intellectual property as your own.
  • Cross-Posting. Don’t post the same post in more than one location.
  • Proper Category. Post in the correct category.
  • Recruitment/Solicitation. You won’t recruit or solicit users.
  • Relevant Content: Stay on-topic in threads.
  • Political Baiting. Be respectful.
  • Spamming. Don’t spam.
  • Video links/embeds. Describe what you link to. Don’t just post it.
  • Affiliate links. Don’t include them in your post.
  • Hotlinking. You won’t do it unless the moderator approves.
  • Warez. Don’t post or link to it.


Expectations of Behavior



  • Be nice. Don’t be rude. Be mindful of others.
  • Identity Spoofing. Be yourself, not someone else. Only use your account.
  • Haxor: No hacking of the site, game servers, or other services.
  • Trolling and Cyberstalking. You won’t do it.
  • Multiple Accounts. Don’t open multiple accounts without Administrative approval
  • Forum Gangs. You won’t start or participate in one.
  • Illicit or Illegal Activity. Not allowed here.
  • Private Messages. You won’t spam users, and you acknowledge that no expectation of privacy exists through the site's public or private messaging services.
  • Server Wars. Don’t engage in them.
  • Obstructing Posts. Keep it to a minimum. Voice your opinion respectfully.
  • You will not engage in arguments or disrespectful behavior towards any UORealms team member.
  • Do not post personally identifiable information about yourself or another.
  • Advertising is not allowed. Don’t post advertising or marketing messages, even for non-profits. You may visit the Ad Portal to review allowed advertising opportunities.


Moderation and Reporting



For ban appeals, please request an appeal.

When Reporting Staff:



All UORealms staff are subject to the same rules. If you feel a team member has treated you unfairly or is breaking the rules, please create a report. However, the following expectations still exist:

Please do not make accusations public.
Please don’t argue with a team member's instructions at the time.
Do not attempt to "riot" or create additional unrest.
Do provide a copy of the concern without including content that may compromise the privacy of another member.

Infractions:

UORealms and it's members and partners strive to provide an environment that is friendly, fun, and enjoyable for all players. However, there are times when it is necessary to issue sanctions against a member(s) for conduct that is inappropriate, in violation of our posted rules, or deemed unacceptable by members of our team. Outside of the forum based warning system, these are handled on a case-by-case basis and may consist of temporary to permanent account banning, including, but not limited to, the loss of any virtual items. UORealms does not discuss the investigation, decision-making process, or outcome of such results with anyone outside of the involved party and team members who are part of said process. Any questions from outside parties will not be responded to.

All members are free to appeal any such decisions regarding their own account(s) directly to appeals@UORealms.com or by requesting an appeal.



UORealms reserves the right to seek remedy against members who violate any portion of the rules and regulations set forth throughout the Terms of Service Agreement, Codes of Conduct, or expressed direction from a member of staff.

These remedies include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Temporary account(s) suspension throughout all or selected services
  • Permanent account(s) banning throughout all or selected services
  • Removal from the service and/or game where such actions have taken place
  • Removal from UORealms delivered chat or messaging services
  • The removal of virtual content and/or currency without refund or remedy
