Weezdiggity has been a dedicated member of UORealms for years, consistently supporting our games, streaming them to help increase our exposure, and contributing to our community both as a player and a team member. Beyond his involvement with UORealms, Weezdiggity has ventured into podcasting, creating a meaningful project that honors the memory of his late best friend. His 2nd edition Dungeons & Dragons podcast not only showcases his love for tabletop gaming but also serves as a heartfelt tribute, keeping his friend’s spirit alive through shared adventures.

Today, we're excited to chat with Weezdiggity about his gaming journey, his enduring support for UORealms, and the inspiration behind his podcast. Let’s dive into his story and experiences.

Corp Por This: Welcome, Weezdiggity! We’re thrilled to have you here for our community newsletter. To kick things off, can you tell us how you first got into Ultima Online and what drew you to the game?

Weezdiggity: I have been a gamer since I was in Elementary school. I played an RPG back on an Apple IIe computer—I don't even remember what it was called, ha. I have played a variety of games; RPGs and First Person Shooter are my favorites. I first started playing Ultima Online back when it first came out around 1998 with a friend of mine. We took turns on the same computer exploring the world of Ultima Online, and we were just simple miners.

Corp Por This: That sounds like quite an adventure! You’ve experienced various Ultima Online servers. What are some of your most memorable experiences across these different servers?

Weezdiggity: The best memory I have is when my friend and I were simply mining with a pack horse when some random player came up and killed us. Right before we died, we were able to have the pack horse set to guard us. As we went back to see if we had anything left on our corpse, we heard our horse make a noise and then saw it coming towards us. We then ran in the direction from where our horse came, and sure enough, the horse had killed the player who had killed us—it was pretty epic, haha. I have too many memorable experiences from playing Ultima Online for 20 years to list them all, but being a tamer mage was truly an amazing character to play. From fighting in faction battles to watching IDOC houses to running into dungeons with my guild to kill a gang of PKs that pissed us off, it's been quite a journey.

Corp Por This: You’ve been with UORealms through many ups and downs. What keeps you coming back to our community and servers?

Weezdiggity: What keeps me coming back is the free beer and drugs... wait, where are we talking about again? I mean, what? Ha, on a serious note, though, I just love the UORealms team and the players we meet. Helping build a community is a thrill and such a challenge that cannot be found in many places in this crazy world we live in.

Corp Por This: Your dedication is truly inspiring. How has your involvement with UORealms, both as a player and team member, impacted your gaming experience?

Weezdiggity: I have been having a great time as a player within our Ultima Online realms and met some interesting people who like to have fun and know just as much about the game as I do. As a team member, it's just great to work alongside people who are looking for the same goal and see what we all can create together.

Corp Por This: That’s wonderful to hear. Are there any specific moments or events within UORealms that have been particularly meaningful to you?

Weezdiggity: When I was streaming Ultima Online, that was a lot of fun. I do plan on doing that again for sure!

Corp Por This: Shifting gears a bit, you’ve also helped give UORealms more exposure by streaming our games. What motivated you to start streaming, and how has it influenced your gaming experience?

Weezdiggity: I always thought about streaming but didn't think my computer would be able to handle it and if the video would come out decent or not. Once I did some testing, I found out I could actually stream. It's not perfect, but it was good enough to share with people. I am a hardcore gamer and just have many different styles of doing things in games, so I thought I would share a bit and see where it went. Having that schedule to stream and play was a bit challenging but really fun to know that at a certain time and day, I was going to be streaming and maybe people would keep watching if I kept it fun.

Corp Por This: Streaming can really bring a game to life for viewers. What feedback have you received from your viewers about UORealms?

Weezdiggity: I really haven't had much feedback. When I wore the skeleton costume while streaming, that's about the only feedback I got that people loved it.

Corp Por This: Recently, you started a podcast with your friends playing 2nd edition D&D. Can you tell us more about the podcast and what inspired you to create it?

Weezdiggity: So my podcast is called Rolling For Thunder. My friends and I were playing a similar game to D&D called TMT for a while and decided we would switch to D&D as we may find a couple more players to play with us a little easier. One of my best friends was getting interested in playing with us when he suddenly passed away and we lost him. We always talked about making some sort of podcast and having a lot of fun. So I decided we would make our D&D sessions into a podcast, soon to be a live stream, in our great friend's memory and share it with the world!

Corp Por This: That sounds like a meaningful project. How has creating and participating in the podcast helped you keep your friend’s memory alive?

Weezdiggity: Every time we record, I picture my friend being with us and laughing his ass off at the silly comedy we add to our story in the game. I know he would have joined us and gamed with us for sure!

Corp Por This: Can you share any memorable moments or stories from your podcast that particularly stand out to you?

Weezdiggity: I can't give away spoilers because I want people to hear it themselves and feel the story evolve into the crazy adventure we have created. Let's just say you won't be disappointed if you like the thrill of an adventure and how an RPG plays out.

Corp Por This: It’s amazing how gaming can bring people together. How has your experience with UORealms and your podcast influenced your view on gaming communities and friendships?

Weezdiggity: The experience with UORealms has influenced me a lot in working with the team and meeting all of the new members who join our community. I decided to do the podcast thing as a solo project, which is a bit challenging at times but really fun. I am looking forward to seeing it unfold into a community sometime.

Corp Por This: Your insights are invaluable. What advice would you give to new players or streamers looking to get involved in gaming communities like UORealms?

Weezdiggity: My advice would be to find what you like and bring your friends for all the free beer and drugs! Oh, there I go again—wait, there is no free beer and drugs. But you could very well find your passion in a game and meet some amazing people to play it with! When it comes to being a streamer, that is just an uphill dive; you have to have the passion for it and keep going with it, not worrying about how many people you get to watch—just keep it fun and entertaining!

Corp Por This: For our readers who are interested, where can they find and listen to your podcast?

Weezdiggity: Rolling For Thunder can be found at Rolling For Thunder D&D 2nd Edition, which has some generated pictures that go along with our adventures and a teaser video. There is a calendar with planned events, especially for when we start live streaming! Being a solo producer is a bit of work for this project, but in this early stage of Rolling For Thunder, things will get very interesting with background lore written on the website behind the characters and places. Our first audio podcast will be published in the very near future and will be put on multiple podcast services. Links to these services will be available on the website.

Corp Por This: Is there anything else you’d like to share with the UORealms community or those interested in joining our servers?

Weezdiggity: This game site is still growing. If you have ideas, you can voice them. You will not be treated as a child. Explore new worlds, learn skills—some of which will help in real life. How to plan and strategize are always a plus.

Corp Por This: Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us, Weezdiggity. Your dedication and the stories you've shared today really highlight what makes UORealms such a special place. Whether it's your streaming efforts, your participation in our community, or your heartfelt podcast, it's clear you bring a lot of passion to everything you do.
