Long before the shrines were raised and the mainland cities found their footing, Skara Brae was only a quiet settlement of woodsmen, sailors, and farmers. Among them lived a reclusive blacksmith named Brennan Fireforge—a craftsman of uncommon talent whose works were whispered to rival those of the ancient Dwarven holds.

Brennan spent his days forging mundane tools for the people of Skara Brae, but in secret, his heart was burdened with a far older calling. His bloodline carried the faded memory of a pact formed in forgotten ages—a pact between mortal smiths and the last of the noble dragons.

This pact granted his ancestors the knowledge to forge Dragon Armor: plates infused with the raw essence of drakes and the living ore formed in the wake of their fiery hearts. But the old ways had nearly vanished, lost to war, famine, and the relentless passing of time.

What remained of the craft lived only in fragmented lore, scattered among ancient elementals, slumbering dragons, and forbidden rituals lost in the deep places of Britannia. Determined to restore his lineage’s legacy, Brennan withdrew from common forge work and began his silent quest to recreate the legendary armor.

But a single mortal smith cannot reclaim such a legacy alone.

Recognizing this, Brennan began seeking adventurers brave—or foolish—enough to gather the rare materials required to awaken the old craft. Only those who prove their worth, and present the Dragon Ore and Dragon Heart, can earn one of his masterwork creations.
