question about dex and healing
I remember having 125 dec and 3 second bandage heals. this also affected cross healing a buddy. Corum has a modified dex of 139 with items, and his heals are 5 seconds.
Am I missing something? it HAS been a long time….

January 29, 2024 at 6:38 PMI am looking at the math for the figuring of the heal timer and by the looks of it the min should be like 4 seconds and it goes up from there depending on the players dex.
Then healing another person should be like 2 seconds as a min. -

January 30, 2024 at 1:01 AMi dont know much. but what ive seen healing withdex is around 6 seconds. when you cure though….its like 3 seconds if you succeed. otherwise it tries to cure again when failed for the other 3 seconds.
when you have more than 80 healing/anatomy… if you are poisoned, it cures the first 3 seconds and do a small heal on the 6sec mark after. depending of lvl of poison -

January 30, 2024 at 11:50 AMQuick update on the heal rates – we’ve checked them, and they’re right on target with our standards. We’ve really honed these mechanics, so we’re planning to keep them as they are, unless there’s a major gameplay concern.
We’re moving into our marketing phase to kickstart the growth of our community, which requires all hands on deck for development, events, and player support. With our smaller team, every moment is precious. We’re dedicating ourselves to further developing the servers, crafting immersive events, both live and dynamic, and bringing Ultima Online to life, both in and out of the game. Stay tuned for more details on our out-of-game plans in a few months! 😉
Here’s how we’re streamlining feedback to maximize our focus:
[*]Suggestions: Keep the ideas rolling in the suggestions forum, and make sure your initial post is detailed. We’ll be monitoring the votes and chiming in when needed. Remember, if your suggestion is closed, pending, or archived, it’s all part of our process. So please, don’t take it personally! We balance a lot of factors, including how suggestions fit with our development timeline. Your suggestion may find its way back into production later on.
[*]Bug Reporting: Got a bug to report? The help ticket system is where it needs to go for us to tackle it effectively.
[*]Quick Questions: The general forums are perfect for player-to-player chats or quick advice. For more specific help, the ticketing system is your best bet.
[*]Resources: Don’t forget to check out our Wiki for Paths of Virtue and uoguide.com for Faerham Citadel. I’m currently working on a compendium for Faerham Citadel to provide information on our changes and custom systems. Plus, I’m finishing up another online help option for times when other support avenues are offline or unavailable.Your input is invaluable and truly shapes our community. But to make your in-game experience as amazing as possible, we need to focus our energy more effectively. This means we might not be able to dive into every forum topic, especially on things like heal rates that are already set.
I value every player here, and seeing the forums buzzing with activity is awesome – these forums are my baby! I’m excited about growing this community together, enhancing your in-game experience, and building a close-knit family of gamers.
Appreciate you all!
